Photo Diary: Brighton.

On a very overcast Saturday morning, I caught the train down to the wonderfully eclectic seaside town of Brighton, to visit two of my best friends from University.  This post is by no means a 'guide to Brighton', as I am quite uneducated when it comes to the best spots to sit and have coffee, or the 'must see' hidden gems of The Lanes.  Instead, I thought I would snap a few photos while I was there, and show you our lovely little day.

After a good catch up over a bottle of wine and huge plates of pepperoni pizza at Zizzi's Italian, we wondered the North Laine and found ourselves at the infamous 'Photomatic' phototography shop. After a few photobooth mishaps, we finally got the perfect four shots and ended up with something that is actually quite adorable.

Of course, it wouldn't be a trip to Brighton without a visit to Boho Gelato.  Having never visited before, I wondered whether the flavours would really live up to the hype- they did.  I chose the salted caramel flavour, it was delicious.  Caitlin went for the carrot cake, and was blown away by how it "actually tastes like the real thing!" and Gemma chose classic chocolate.

We ended our day with a trip to the cinema to see 'Bridget Jones's Baby', which by the way, if you're wondering whether it is as good as the first and second films... it is. Go and see it and try not to think about the extortionate cinema prices.  It's worth it, trust me.

What do you like to do when you're in Brighton? I'd love some ideas for future visits!
