We all have times where everything seems to be piling up on us, whether it be school or uni work, family life or just those little niggling jobs that never seem to get done; at times it can start to feel a little overwhelming. If you're finding yourself in the midst of one of these moments and it seems as though it will never end, here are a few little reminders to help you stay focused and relieve stress.
- There is no point working hard if you kill/exhaust yourself in the process. Rest is always needed. (credit: Emtalks)
- Even our worst days only have 24 hours.
- It'll all be worth it in the end.
- Think forward to how proud you'll be when you've achieved that goal.
- If you're feeling burnt out, take a break or do something different, then come back to it later with a fresh mind.
- Take a break. You deserve it.
- Put it in perspective, this is such a short period of time compared to the rest of your life.
- Be kind to yourself.
- Work towards goals or rewards. Written 500 words? Treat yourself. Looking at things in chunks will make things much easier to cope with.
